Ontario County is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Deputy County Administrator position.

SPECIAL NOTE: EDUCATION: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States and its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: In accordance with NYS Public Officers Law Article 2, Section 3, and Local Law # 10 of 2023, the Deputy County Administrator must be a resident of Ontario County.
Salary: $141,258/yr with comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, paid leave, 3% match to deferred compensation, full health and dental insurance, wellness program, EAP, professional development training, and NYS Retirement pension.

- Possession of a Master's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Human Resources, Finance, or a closely related field and four (4) years of full time paid professional experience in a large and complex organization; OR
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Human Resources, Finance or a closely related field and six (6) years of full time paid professional experience in a large and complex organization; OR
- A combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of numbers (1) and (2) above.
